In September 2005, actress/journalist Maria Menounos purchased this 4,126 square foot Colonial style estate in Encino, California, which she still owns. Built in 1938 on a nearly 31,000 square foot lot, the former Access Hollywood correspondent paid $2,305,000 for the home which has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and offers a swimming pool & spa, tennis court, and a three-car garage. Maria Menounos was born in Medford, Massachusetts and won the title of Miss Massachusetts Teen USA in 1996.

On February 7, 2023, Maria Menounos, along with her husband, made a public announcement stating that they were expecting a baby by utilizing the services of a surrogate. On February 22 and March 1, 2023, Maria Menounos hosted a two-part reunion special for MTV's long-running show The Challenge: Ride or Dies.
